Customers of companies using Lowell’s service can now receive their invoices even more easily, directly in their mobile banking app. The new model has been implemented together with Lowell’s billing partner Strålfors and Siirto.
Strålfors delivers invoices forwarded via Lowell to consumers through Lowell’s widely used Omnichannel solution. Siirto’s e-invoice address service has now been added to the solution, automatically finding the consumer’s correct e-invoice address. Implementation was straightforward for Lowell, as the new service can be adopted as part of the existing billing process.
Lowell has previously used Siirto for online payments via Paytrail, and the partnership has now been expanded to invoicing through Strålfors’ service as well.
“More and more of our end customers want to manage their invoices in the same place as their other banking matters. When the invoice arrives directly in the mobile banking app, the whole process becomes significantly simpler,” says Tuomas Kurikka, Head of Client Management, Lowell Finland.
When a consumer activates Siirto in Nordea’s or OP’s mobile banking app, the service can automatically make use of their e-invoice address. This means the consumer no longer needs to set up separate e-invoice agreements with every billing company.
The partnership between Strålfors and Siirto was announced in spring 2026, and customers such as Lowell have now activated Siirto’s e-invoice address service as part of Strålfors’ omnichannel solution.
“This removes unnecessary friction for both the biller and the consumer and makes invoicing simpler. Lowell is a good example of how quickly the solution can be implemented,” says Sami Niininen, Head of Business Development, Product Technology & Innovation, PostNord Strålfors.
Siirto and Strålfors will continue their collaboration so that more and more Finns can easily receive their invoices where they manage their other banking matters.
