Siirto Brand Oy and Finago Oy are beginning a collaboration that allows consumer invoices sent through Finago’s software to be routed directly to the recipient’s own bank. The partnership brings together Finland’s most widely used financial management software and a Finnish account-based payment method. This makes e-invoicing easier for both billers and consumers.
Finago serves Finnish businesses at the core of financial management
Finago is a Finnish financial management software group. Its products include Finago Procountor, Finland’s most popular financial management software, and the e-invoicing operator Finago Apix. As Finago joins Siirto’s partner network, Siirto reaches a significant share of Finnish companies’ invoicing flows at once.
Invoices where they’re paid
Through the collaboration, consumer invoices sent through Finago’s software can be routed to over one million Finnish Siirto users, directly to their own bank for payment. For consumers, the invoices appear like any other invoice in their online or mobile bank – familiar, secure and easy to approve for payment. No separate agreements or new apps are needed. For banks’ consumer customers, activating Siirto in their own bank is enough.
“We want to take Siirto to where invoicing actually happens, that is, to the systems customers already use. Finago is exactly the right partner for this.”
Mikko Ketola, CEO, Siirto Brand Oy
For billers, the collaboration means a smoother invoicing process: fewer PDF and paper invoices, faster cash flow and less administrative work.
“The collaboration between Siirto and Finago Apix is a step toward faster and more frictionless payments. We want to offer our customers new ways to reach their own customers and reduce unnecessary work in invoicing.”
Sakari Jorma, Chief Technology Officer, Finago
Finago will inform its customers separately about the service rollout schedule.
